This page covers the public SampleLab website. SampleLab is a Mac companion app for the Akai MPC Sample. It is independent software — not an Akai product.
Launch updates
If you join the launch list, the email address you provide is processed through Formspree, the third-party form service used to collect launch notifications. After a successful submission, your browser also remembers the address locally. We use it only for SampleLab launch updates.
Purchases
Lemon Squeezy is the commerce provider for SampleLab. It processes checkout, payment, order, receipt, and digital-delivery information. SampleLab does not directly receive or store payment-card information.
Beta feedback
Feedback submitted through the beta feedback form is processed through Formspree. The form asks only for details that help investigate the issue; providing an email address is optional.
The Mac app
The SampleLab application works with projects you already made on your MPC Sample. Working in the app is not designed to overwrite or destroy the original project. This website does not receive your music, samples, or project files.
